We exist because we love God and His children and believe that every child has the right to live in a family. We work to empower the local church to open their homes to vulnerable children in their communities so that children are not

Identity Mission firmly believes that the divine blueprint of family, ordained by God, serves as a beacon guiding our approach to safeguarding vulnerable children. Regardless of circumstance, when a child is wrenched from the warmth of their familial embrace, left abandoned or orphaned, empirical evidence underscores the paramountcy of nurturing family environments. Thus, our Family-Based Care Programs champion the ethos of keeping children ensconced within familial love.
Our model is anchored in the imperative of promptly situating children within familial contexts when their immediate biological ties are severed. Whether through fostering or kinship care, we endeavor to imbue stability and belonging in their lives. Concurrently, we proffer multifaceted support services encompassing educational, economic, material, and psychological aid to fortify biological families. Our ultimate aspiration is the seamless reunification of children with their biological kin whenever feasible. Yet, should this prove unattainable, we steadfastly advocate for their integration into adoptive or forever families, ensuring each child finds enduring solace and belonging.
Repeatedly, research underscores the paramountcy of nurturing a child within a familial embrace. Echoing this sentiment, the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child unequivocally champions the notion that a child's optimal development flourishes within the nurturing cocoon of a family unit. Aligned with this ethos, our ethos resonates with the profound wisdom encapsulated in Psalm 68:6, where it is proclaimed that God ordains families to embrace the lonely.
Hence, our Family-Based Care Programs are steadfastly dedicated to addressing the deepest yearning of orphans: the need for familial connection. It is within the tender folds of a family that children forge their identity, imbue purpose, and find profound belonging. Accordingly, Identity Mission's endeavors are steadfastly rooted in providing familial care, thereby thwarting the ingress of more children into institutional settings, safeguarding them from the perils of identity erosion.
In 2004, I began mission work in poverty-stricken Honduras. Encountering contrasting orphanages—one struggling, the other flourishing—sparked my mission to advocate for orphans. Over eight years, my family and I supported orphanages. Witnessing dire conditions in a government-run orphanage, we initiated a foster care program in 2014. Now, in collaboration with NGOs and local authorities, we strive to place Honduras' children in loving homes, guided by Jesus's example.
