Every child deserves to grow up surrounded by love, stability, and people who understand their needs.
But for vulnerable children and families in Honduras, finding that support isn't always easy.
This giving season, we're coming together to change that.
Every child deserves to grow up surrounded by love, stability, and people who understand their needs. But for vulnerable children and families in Honduras, finding that support isn't always easy.
This giving season, we're coming together to change that.
For many families in Honduras, a crisis can become the beginning of separation.
Parents facing overwhelming challenges often lack access to the resources, guidance, and specialized care they need. Teachers, churches, and community leaders want to help, but they may not have the training or tools to respond effectively.
And when that support is missing, children can face unnecessary separation from the people they love.
That's why Identity Mission is working to build something stronger: a community equipped to recognize needs, respond with compassion, and help children and families find lasting stability and healing.
Mariela's Story
Mariela is a mother of four who faced a decision no parent should have to make.
Struggling to provide for her children's basic needs, she was encouraged to place them in an orphanage. With few options available, she made the heartbreaking decision to place her two older children in institutional care.
But her story didn't end there.
After receiving training through Identity Mission, a local church recognized that Mariela needed more than temporary assistance. She needed people willing to walk alongside her.
Together, the church and Identity Mission helped reunite her family and began building a foundation for long-term stability.
Through emotional and spiritual support, opportunities for financial independence, parenting education, and connections to community resources, Mariela found a network of people committed to helping her family move forward.
This is what becomes possible when a community is equipped to care.
And it's the kind of support we want more families to experience.
Lasting change doesn't happen through one person or one program alone.
It happens when churches, caregivers, educators, and community leaders have the knowledge and resources to respond together.
Your generosity helps make that possible.
Helping churches turn compassion into action.
We equip pastors and church leaders with practical tools and trauma-informed training so they can recognize vulnerable families, provide meaningful support, and develop ministries that help keep children safely within families.
Because the local church can be a powerful source of hope and stability in its community.
Helping people care for children more effectively.
Children interact with teachers, daycare workers, local authorities, and community leaders every day.
By providing specialized training in child protection, trauma awareness, and family preservation, we're helping these individuals better understand and respond to the needs of vulnerable children.
When the people surrounding a child are equipped, care can extend beyond the home.
Helping children and caregivers move forward together.
Through initiatives like Aula Plus and specialized training in TBRIĀ® and HALO, we provide educational, emotional, and practical support to children, parents, and caregivers.
Our goal isn't simply to respond to immediate challenges. It's to help families develop the tools, relationships, and stability they need for the future.
Together, we're building a stronger network of care around vulnerable children and families. better understand and respond to the needs of vulnerable children.
When the people surrounding a child are equipped, care can extend beyond the home.
This year, we're inviting our community to come together to raise $100,000 in support of Identity Mission's work in Honduras.
Your generosity helps us sustain our team, strengthen essential programs, expand specialized training, and equip more churches and community partners to care for vulnerable children and families.
Every gift contributes to a bigger picture:
a community where families can find support, caregivers can access the tools they need, and children have the opportunity to experience healing in safe, loving environments.
We can't do this alone.
But together, we can serve stronger.
